The latest revision of the IRATA TACS has been released, with a couple of important changes for technicians undertaking IRATA training to be aware of.
Firstly, Logbooks…. no logbook, no assessment, no excuses, no exceptions! Technicians at all levels must present an up to date and correctly maintained log book to be assessed. If you’ve lost your logbook, you’ll need to organise a replacement before your next assessment, so keep it safe…… if you can’t keep it safe, click on the link below to request a replacement. https://irata.org/page/replacement-docs2
Secondly, Theory assessments….. Level 1’s and Level 2’s will no longer complete a written theory assessment but must “demonstrate” their knowledge of the applicable syllabus items.
Level 3’s will complete an online theory assessment prior to commencing their practical assessment, with a pass mark being 70%, 69 – 50% a minor discrepancy and 49% a major discrepancy.
